The RSA TechislandUK website is being launched at the Digital Solent Conference on 8th November 2017 #digitalsolent at Cowes Yacht Haven. TechislandUK is an RSA Project. The aim is to stimulate the key stakeholders in the public and private sector to embed an agenda for action to develop the Isle of Wight as a digital economy.  To  support the debate going forward we have developed a brand and website to:

  • celebrate the work of digital entrepreneurs on the Island as a good place to do business
  • inspire young people on the island to stay/return after University and set up digital businesses
  • attract inward investment funds to support the growth and development of digital entrepreneurship on the Isle of Wight

The site features 12 case studies of digital business entrepreneurs on the Isle of Wight. A video has been made of some of these case studies which is being shown at the Digital Solent Conference.
