Christina is a Director and Partner in Coralesce ltd, a curriculum development agency that works with awarding organizations, educational providers and funding agencies to develop enterprising and innovative new learning journeys to inspire a 21st century workforce. Prior to working in the private sector Christina worked for 27 years in further education. She trained as a Social Scientist at Reading University and the London School of Economics. She worked in both market and social research before coming into further education as a lecturer in 1985 after qualifying as a teacher and training manager.
From 1999-2012 Christina was Principal and Chief Executive of Richmond Adult Community College in South West London. In 2004 the College was graded Excellent and awarded Learning & Skills Beacon Status for its work in adult, community learning, employer engagement and as a centre of excellence for enterprise training for adults. In 2006 and again in 2010 the College was inspected by OFSTED (UK Government Inspectorate) and rated ‘outstanding’ and offering ‘outstanding value for money’.
Prior to her appointment in Richmond, Christina worked in large general FE Colleges in Hertfordshire and Essex. She was Deputy Principal at North Hertfordshire College, leading on Strategic planning, Quality Assurance, Information Services and Marketing and was the Director of Academic Planning at South East Essex College in Southend responsible for curriculum delivery. Christina was awarded an OBE (Royal Honours) for her services to further education in 2002.
